Teamwork makes the dream work! Our Mission: Food Forest Ambassadors are the boots on the ground, helping bring sustainability and food security to military communities. Whether you’re active duty, a veteran, a military family member, or a civilian passionate about food security, ambassadors serve as local points of contact to connect and empower military populations through community gardening, farmers’ markets, trade stations, hunting, beekeeping, bread-making, and more.

WHAT AMBASSADORS CAN DO:
✔️ Organize community gardens, events, and local initiatives
✔️ Run regional Facebook groups and online communities
✔️ Serve as a point of contact for military families in their area
✔️ Help connect service members, veterans, and families with sustainable food resources
✔️ Gain early access to funding, gifts, and support for projects that align with our mission

When you become an ambassador, your location and contact info will be placed on our Mission: Food Forest map, making it easy for others in your area to find sustainable food resources and get involved. Together, we are growing stronger, more resilient communities through sustainable food systems.
